Anaesthesia Technologists are well versed with the pharmacology of Anaesthesia and Non-Anaesthesia drugs, their preparation, dilution and labelling.
The program trains students in preparation of anaesthesia trolleys, checking the machines for suction, gas system operation, working OT tables, various gases used in OT, inhalational agents’ usage. They learn to assist with the administration and monitoring of anaesthesia and have extensive knowledge of anaesthesia techniques, instruments, supplies and technology.
